About Russian Tarragon
Russian Tarragon is a hardy, cold-tolerant perennial herb known for its tall, upright growth, slender aromatic leaves, and long-standing use in traditional gardens. Unlike French Tarragon (which does not grow true from seed), Russian Tarragon is seed-grown and much more resilient, making it ideal for homesteads, survival gardens, and northern climates.
While its flavor is milder than French tarragon, Russian Tarragon excels in hardiness, productivity, and ease of growth. Once established, it forms large clumps and returns reliably year after year.
This is a true survival herb—tough, dependable, and long-lived.
Traditional & Herbal Uses
Russian Tarragon has been traditionally used as:
• A classic digestive-supporting herb
• A traditional appetite-supporting plant
• A warming botanical
