Chickweed (Stellaria media) is a cooling, gentle herb long used in folk traditions as a tea or infusion, in external washes and poultices, and as a salve ingredient for everyday skin comfort.

Warning: Avoid during pregnancy or nursing unless guided. Large amounts may cause nausea, diarrhea, or digestive irritation because of naturally occurring saponins. Discontinue if an allergic reaction develops. Do not rely on topical use for deep, infected, or serious wounds.
