The Fall Gold Raspberry is a rare and highly sought-after variety that produces beautiful golden-yellow berries with an incredibly sweet, smooth flavor. Unlike traditional red raspberries, these berries are low in acidity and rich in natural sugars, often described as a blend of honey, apricot, and light citrus.
This is an everbearing (primocane) variety, meaning it fruits on new growth—giving you harvests in late summer through fall, and often again the following season. Once established, it becomes a dependable, long-term producer—perfect for homesteads and food-producing gardens.
The berries are soft, juicy, and excellent for fresh eating, drying, jams, and desserts. Their unique color and flavor make them stand out both on the plate and in the garden.
🌿 Medicinal Value of the Leaves
Raspberry leaves are one of the most respected herbal leaves in traditional use and bring serious value beyond the fruit.
They are naturally rich in vitamins and minerals including magnesium, calcium, potassium, and iron, along with beneficial plant compounds like tannins and flavonoids. When used as a tea or infusion, raspberry leaves have traditionally been used to support:
- Digestive health and gentle gut support
- Natural toning of tissues (especially valued in traditional women’s health support)
- Reduction of inflammation
- Immune system support
- General mineral nourishment for the body
Raspberry leaf tea has been used for generations as a daily nourishing tea, making this plant not just a fruit producer, but a true medicinal asset on the homestead.
