Golden Rod Herb

Goldenrod is a traditional flowering herb with a history in urinary, seasonal, respiratory, digestive, astringent, and external household traditions. However, the photographed jar’s support and warning wording appears to have been copied from a Damiana label. The printed wording should be corrected before this product is published or sold online.

Scientific Evidence / Research Status

Goldenrod contains flavonoids, saponins, phenolic compounds, and other constituents studied in laboratory and limited human research. Current evidence does not prove that Goldenrod treats urinary infections, kidney disease, allergies, respiratory disease, digestive disease, or any medical condition.

Traditional Uses Listed on the Photographed Jar

The photographed jar lists mood, stress, libido, reproductive wellness, nervous system, digestion, urinary comfort, energy, relaxation, and blood-sugar balance. These are not a typical Goldenrod list and appear inconsistent with the product name.

Jar-Label Warning Highlights

The photographed warning says to avoid use during pregnancy or nursing and use care with diabetes medication, sedatives, anxiety medication, liver concerns, or surgery. It also warns that large amounts may cause overstimulation, stomach upset, or serious side effects. This wording also appears to belong to Damiana rather than Goldenrod. A corrected Goldenrod warning should address Asteraceae-family allergies, kidney concerns, diuretic effects, medications, pregnancy, and nursing.

Historical Uses / Traditional Context

Historically, Goldenrod was used in European and North American urinary, seasonal, wound-wash, dye, and household traditions. It was also valued as a flowering plant for pollinators. These traditions do not prove medical effectiveness.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING

The herb jar labels in this store are personal inventory labels used by the owner of Yahuah’s Farm for internal organization, pricing, and owner reference. They are not customer instructions, medical advice, dosage instructions, health advice, or personal recommendations.

Please disregard the health-support wording on the jar labels. Do not choose, purchase, prepare, or use any herb based only on words written on the jar, including words such as support, inflammation, digestion, immune, heart, circulation, pain, skin, blood flow, liver, hormones, or similar wording.

Those words are not promises, guarantees, proof, or claims that the herb will help that condition. Just because a jar label lists a body system or support word does not mean that herb will help you personally.

Every herb can affect people differently. Herbs may cause allergic reactions, side effects, or interactions with medications, blood thinners, blood pressure medicine, diabetes medication, pregnancy, nursing, surgery, liver or kidney issues, and other medical conditions.

Use extra caution with children, elderly persons, pregnant or nursing women, and anyone with a medical condition. Do not use herbs as a replacement for needed medical care, testing, diagnosis, or treatment.

You are responsible to research every herb thoroughly before buying or using it. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional before using herbs, especially if you take medication, have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, or are preparing for surgery.

By purchasing herbs from these jars, you understand and agree that you are purchasing and using them at your own risk. Yahuah’s Farm is not responsible for misuse, allergic reactions, interactions, personal health decisions, or relying on jar label wording instead of doing your own research.
