Yahuah's Farm Grape Seed Tincture begins with a concentrated 4:1 Grape Seed Extract. The powdered grape seed extract is already concentrated before the tincturing process begins. It is then prepared using approximately:

1 Part 4:1 Grape Seed Extract
2 Parts Alcohol

This produces a highly concentrated botanical extract containing naturally occurring grape-seed polyphenols, including proanthocyanidins (OPCs).

This product does not begin with ordinary ground grape seeds. It begins with a 4:1 concentrated grape seed powdered extract. That concentrated extract is then extracted again using alcohol at approximately:

1 part concentrated grape seed extract to 2 parts alcohol.

Because the original material is already a concentrated extract, the finished tincture is considerably more concentrated than an ordinary grape-seed tincture prepared directly from whole or powdered grape seeds.

CONCENTRATION / BOTANICAL REFERENCE INFORMATION

Based upon a standard 1:2 weight-to-volume preparation, the approximate concentration is:

¼ dropper — approximately 0.25 mL — approximately 125 mg of 4:1 grape seed extract
½ dropper — approximately 0.5 mL — approximately 250 mg of 4:1 grape seed extract

These amounts are approximate because botanical powders can vary in density and composition, and exact strength cannot be guaranteed without finished-product laboratory testing.
